Chiang Mai Honeymoon – Make it a Memorable One

If you and your spouse love adventure and culture, then Chiang Mai is the perfect honeymoon destination for you. Chiang Mai is lovingly called by locals as the ‘rose of the north’ because of its charm and beauty. It is a big honeymoon destination for those who want to combine relaxation and active adventures.

Chiang Mai’s spectacular natural attractions, cultural pursuits, and five-star resorts, hotels, and private villas make it attractive to all kinds of holidaymakers. Flights to Chiang Mai might be a bit pricey depending on where in the world you are coming from, but once you are here, you can treat yourself to great dining and ultra-luxury accommodation for much less than what you will spend in exotic honeymoon destinations elsewhere.

Many honeymooners are choosing to stay in private villas instead of hotels in Chiang Mai. In a private villa, you are the only guest—which means you never have to share any of the amenities with other travelers. Choose an all-inclusive package so that you don’t have to think about anything and simply enjoy your holiday.

One of the best ways to see Chiang Mai during your honeymoon is to book a private tour, which your private villa will be happy to book for you. The tour gives you access to a comfortably air-conditioned vehicle and a private driver plus an English-speaking tour guide. Itineraries are yet tightly managed and organized so you can make the most of your stay.

A honeymoon tour in Chiang Mai won’t be complete without a visit to golden temple Wat Phrathat. Are you and your spouse outdoorsy? You will love a trek through the tropical jungle riding an elephant, or a trip to Mae Rim’s the Tiger Kingdom where you can play with wild baby cats. You can also take a cooking class or two with your spouse and learn Northern-Thai dishes that you can whip up at home.  When the sun goes down, you can head to the Night Bazaar to buy souvenirs and handmade Thai silk.
